Playa de las Higuericas: (Approx. 5-7 minute drive) Often considered one of the area's best! This long, wide beach features beautiful fine, pale sand and gentle dunes. It's perfect for families, with relatively calm waters and plenty of space. You'll find excellent amenities including lifeguard stations (in season), foot showers, accessible walkways, and popular chiringuitos (beach bars) right on the sand – perfect for a cool drink or a seafood lunch with your toes almost in the water. Ample parking is usually available nearby.

Playa El Mojón: (Approx. 8-10 minute drive) Located right on the border with the Murcia region, El Mojón offers a more natural, tranquil feel. Backed by sand dunes and with calm, shallow waters, it's a lovely spot for a peaceful day by the sea. It's less developed than Las Higuericas but still offers basic amenities. It’s a great choice for a relaxing swim and sunbathe away from the bigger crowds.

Las Villas Beach: (Approx. 5-7 minute drive) Situated between El Mojón and Torre de la Horadada marina, this beach offers lovely golden sand and connects easily to the promenade. It's well-equipped with services and is close to nearby cafes and restaurants, making it convenient for combining beach time with a stroll or a bite to eat.

Playa del Conde & Playa Jesuitas (Torre de la Horadada): (Approx. 5-7 minute drive) These beaches flank the iconic watchtower in the neighbouring village of Torre de la Horadada. Playa del Conde sits right beside the charming marina and promenade, offering a vibrant atmosphere with restaurants and ice cream parlours nearby. Playa Jesuitas, just south of the tower, is another lovely stretch of sand popular with families. Both benefit from the lively atmosphere of Torre.
